Library Rules

This is a space for students to study, relax, enjoy a good book or use the computers. You are always welcome in here any time of the school day, including lunch time, as well as afterschool on Mondays and Wednesdays or at other preapproved times. While you are here you will respect those around you by following a few simple rules:

  • Food and any drink are allowed in the Media Center so please feel free to stop in during lunch. Just remember to clean up any mess that is made.

  • Cell phones must not be used during school hours.

  • If you are staying after school to use the Media Center, you must sign in upon entering and sign out before leaving.

  • Students must work respectfully without disturbing those around them. Distance Learning is also located in the Media Center, so please be respectful of your fellow classmates taking online classes.

  • Students may use their own ipods or MP3 players with headphones. If you do not have headphones, you may borrow some from the Media Center.

  • Students must log off of the computer when finished.

  • All laptops must be turned off and put back on their shelf and plugged in so it is ready for the next student.

  • There will be no sleeping on the bean bags or couches. If you are caught sleeping we reserve the right to ask you to return to class.

Laptop loans

We do have laptops available for students to take home. We ask that before they do so, they must first get the parent/gaurdian to sign a Laptop loan agreement.
